She had a stroke. (fictional story)

Libby went for her yearly physical. Which she hated. She needed to get a shot. Libby hated needles.

She sat in the waiting room leg shaking nervously as she waited for her name to be called. Her arm hurt just thinking of the pain.

Soon it was. She stood up and followed the nurse to get weighed. then they took her BP and listened to her lungs. Easy stuff.

The nurse left her in a small room and said the doctor would be in to give her the shot momentarily.

He came in and did it. It didn’t even hurt! She worried for nothing.

That’s not what this story is about. its what happens next.

Libby left the office and blanked out. Where was the waiting room. She froze.

“Oh the waiting is to your left” The doctor pointed. She couldn’t move. The doctor looked at her.

“You okay?”

She walked to the side 3 steps then forward. She fell to the floor in a heap.

“Oh my god, are you okay!?” Dr Burns helped her up.

“BLah, ssukp slfpsks”

“She’s having a stroke!” Dr BUrns shouted< “Call 911!”

Libby blacked out.

Libby opened her eyes no clue where she was.

“She’s awake!” Was what she heard. She looked around THere were her MOm and DAd.

“What?”

“You had a stroke sweetie” Mom said softly.

“You will be okay” Dad kissed her forehead.

Libby’s hand was full of IV’s and she had Oxygen up her nose. She was scared. she started to cry.

Libby was lucky. She lived through a minor, minor stroke. God was with her that day.
